The Government of Meghalaya also promotes self-employment among Ex-Servicemen through entrepreneurship opportunities under the CM-Elevate Programme. The programme provides financial assistance, capacity building, and support for establishing enterprises across various sectors, thereby enabling Ex-Servicemen to pursue sustainable livelihood opportunities after retirement from military service.
